Samsung's latest phones are officially began designed at Hongik Univesity in South Korea in June and then developed at CES 2011 in Las Vegas, Nevada by Professor Haeseong Jee and Jye Yeon Yaou. The designers of this phone (Samsung Galaxy Skin) says its development is still in the conceptual stage.

The main advantage of the Samsung Galaxy Skin is the flexibility. This is the first phone that can be bent and resistant to hard objects or you can hit this phone by hammer.

Samsung has confirmed that this production display screen of 4-inch flexible AMOLED which display with a resolution of up to 800 x 400 megapixel and will start to be released in the second quarter of 2012.


Instead of using glass, flexible AMOLED said using polyimide plastic substrate. Tests have shown that it will be possible to bend to form a cylinder with a diameter of one inch.

Samsung Galaxy Skin will use 4-inch flexible AMOLED screen with resolution of up to 800 x 400 megapixels. 8MP camera will also be placed on the rear and it have the front VGA camera. This smartphone will be equipped with 1.2 GHz processor and 1 GB of RAM. 3 common connectivity such as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n also paired in order to increase the perfection of this Samsung Galaxy Skin phone.

Experts estimate that the Samsung Galaxy Skin will run on Android operating system Ice Cream Sandwich, but others say that this phone will display a new operating system called Android Flexy. So, it is new era of flexibility with Samsung Galaxy Skin.
